Miami, FL November 11, 2007 -- True-Motion Team Races at the Mr. Coffee Miami Man Half

On Sunday, November 11th, 3 members of Team True-Motion competed in the Mr. Coffee Miami Man Half Ironman. Paul Bashforth lead the team with a total finish time of 4:59, while Mimi Boyle held a respective 5:25, and Mike Dolan finished in a gutsy 7:12 after battling with stomach issues the entire day. It was exciting to be together as a team (and have a 4th teammate out on the course with us.Dione Swanson who finished in 5:26 rocking out the True-Motion gear!) to support our line of clothing. The race itself was fairly challenging with conditions on the bike being windy, and heat kicking up during the run. Arriving from the Northeast, Mike and Mimi crashed with Paul (who lives in South Beach.yeah.we feel SO bad for him!) pre-race and discussed our plan of attack with our chief strategist, Lucy Bashforth. Lucy, who turns 18 months old in 2.5 short weeks, was advising all three of us to play it conservatively on the swim and bike, and whatever was left in the tank for the run.let it ride! "Daaaddaaa.Momma Momma.Elmo" stated Bashforth as she clapped vigorously at the awards when her father, Paul, picked up an age group award. It's safe to say she will be a key factor in the success of all of our races next year as each of us performed better than expected on virtually no training. Mike had been traveling for weeks at a time prior to the race, and Mimi was lured into the race just 10 days before the starting gun went off. Paul was focused and fit, but had very little racing under his belt since July. All in all.team True-Motion is off to a great start for 2008! July 11, 2007, CONNECTICUT -- True-Motion Sportswear Launches its Summer Line

A new brand of sports apparel is set to take off as True-Motion® launches their first line of casual sportswear. The apparel embraces a “lifestyle beyond sport” mantra, maintaining the founder’s vision that athletes have many choices of what to wear while training and competing, but pre and post workouts, there are very few choices in the stylish and casual sportswear arena.
Paul Bashforth, the company’s founder, explains what True-Motion is all about. “True-Motion was founded by myself and three other passionate athletes. Each of us brings different skills, but we all share the same vision: to create a brand of casual sportswear that people will feel good about wearing. Cool styles and comfortable fabrics to embrace the active lifestyle.”

The initial launch will include a line of men’s and women’s T-Shirts and jackets, with a broader line extension set to roll out late summer. Greg Stewart, the company’s creative director states, “our initial goal is to start out on the conservative side, creating brand awareness and a solid customer base through our unique designs and styles.”

The four partners, Paul Bashforth, Michael Dolan, Mimi Boyle and Greg Stewart of True-Motion come from a variety of athletic and professional backgrounds, but found common ground (and each other) through their most recent passion, triathlon. As Bashforth states, “much of the triathlon experience, especially in the longer distance races, occurs in the days leading up to and then directly after the race. We can tap into that market and offer athletes fashionable and cool alternatives to the race-branded t-shirt”.

And this is only the tip of the iceberg. With their own online store open and ready for business, as well as wheels in motion to be sold on other multisports websites and stores in the NY-Metro area, True-Motion hopes to capture an even bigger audience than their comfort zone of triathlon. Stay tuned; this is a brand that is built to last.

July 13, 2007, MINNESOTA -- Two partners in True-Motion will compete in the elite age-group race at the Lifetime Fitness Triathlon on July 14.

After a slow winter of training for Greg Stewart and Mimi Boyle, they have spent the past couple of weeks buckling down to represent True-Motion at the highly competitive race. What is going to be fast course presents many obstacles, "The first challenge will be trying to avoid wasting all my energy at the Mall of America!" says Boyle, top age grouper and two-time Kona Ironman finisher. She continues, "I heard the place is huge and I am such a roller coaster maniac!"
